A University of Greenwich law degree, taught in Colombo on weekends.
The LLB (Hons) covers contract law, EU law, tort law, public law, equity and trusts, criminal law, land law, commercial law and intellectual property law, the same syllabus taught on Greenwich’s own campus, examined to the same standard, awarded by the University of Greenwich directly. On completion, graduates can pursue Sri Lanka Law College to qualify as an Attorney-at-Law, or a Barrister/Solicitor route in the UK. The qualification is recognised in over 47 countries, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand and across Europe.
Who can apply
- GCE Advanced Level examination passed with a minimum of 3 S passes (a minimum of 2 C passes and 1 S pass is required for Sri Lanka Law College entrance specifically)
- GCE Ordinary Level examination passed with a credit pass in English
- GCE Ordinary Level examination passed with a credit pass in Sinhala or Tamil
Note: This is the standard entry route based on school-leaving qualifications.

The Graduate Entry Pathway completes the same LLB (Hons) in 24 months instead of 3 years
